Documentary channel airing Notorious BIG biopic

The USA's first 24-hour television network devoted to documentary films and independent filmmakers. the documentary channel is a specialty channel which focuses on broadcasting documentaries. Some documentary channels programming further specialize by dedicating their television programming to specific types of documentaries or documentaries in a specific area of knowledge. In the month of January they were airing the Notorious B. I.G. biopic entitled "Bigger Than Life".

The channel was founded by Oscar nominated and Emmy winning documentarian Tom Neff. Documentary Channel is currently available via Dish Network and DirecTV, the latter of which added the channel on March 31, 2010.
