  • 'One Night Only' show for Notorious BIG's birthday

Puff Daddy and The Family are set to reunite for a 'one night only' show at New York's Barclays center, where the rapper and producer will reunite with his old music crew to pay homage to Notorious BIG.

Celebrating the life of NYC rapper Notorious BIG - AKA Christopher Wallace - P Diddy will reunite the crew on May 20, nearly 20 years after début album 'No Way Out' was released in 1997 on Diddy's Bad Boy label.

Performers on the night include Faith Evans, Lil' Kim, Mase, French Montana, Total, 112 and Marion Winans, as well as tipped performances from Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige.

"This isn't just another concert -- This is hip-hop history,” said Diddy in an official press statement. “The Bad Boy Family includes some of the biggest names in music and songs that helped define a whole generation of music. Also, we are celebrating one of the greatest of all time - Notorious B.I.G. This will be a night to remember. I can't wait to see you all there.”

Meanwhile Notorious BIG's widow, Faith Evans, revealed that plans are in the works to create a performance hologram of the late rapper.

Evans, whose tribute song to her late husband, 'I'll Be Missing You', reached Number One shortly after his death in 1997, is currently working on a posthumous duets album with Biggie. Titled 'The King & I', it is set to drop in the autumn.

Discussing the album during an interview on The Dame Dash Radio Show, Evans said: "Today, if he was alive, I know, ultimately, we would've done something like this. But the way the stuff has come together, and the way I'm using his vocals, it’'s giving the stuff new life, it's totally different."

She added later in the interview: "We actually are in development with a hologram, but I don't necessarily know to what extent I'm gonna perform with it. But I want to debut it in the first video for the album, and maybe use it a little bit performing live. But that depends on a lot of things."
