    The Notorious B.I.G.’s hometown plans to honor the legendary lyricist in a major way. Per Brooklyn’s borough president, Eric L. Adams, the “Juicy” rapper’s birthday (May 21) has officially been deemed Christopher “The Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace Day.

    In an Instagram post, Biggie’s daughter T’Yanna Wallace and his confidant Lil Cease commemorated the moment, solidifying the accolade on the iconic artist’s 44th birthday.

    On Friday night (May 20), Biggie’s memory was elevated through Bad Boy’s reunion event at the Barclays Center. Puff Daddy and The Family performed their critically-acclaimed hits while paying homage to Biggie in his hometown through a series of vintage videos.

    Artists that made a nostalgic appearance included Faith Evans, 112, The Lox, Busta Rhymes, Lil’ Kim, Carl Thomas, and Jay Z plus Nas.
