A & E will premiere the documentary Biggie: The Life of Notorious B.I.G. as its inaugural project under the recently relaunched “Biography” banner. The three-hour film, originally scheduled to run June 28, will now air September 4. It is a deeply personal biography, and its subject, the late rapper Christopher Wallace, narrates his own life story with exclusive archival footage and audio recordings that have never been heard before. The docuseries will also include new interviews with those who loved him most.
Biggie: The Life of Notorious B.I.G. is the first biography to be authorized by his estate and will be the most personal and revealing documentary about the rapper to date.
