    Happy 53rd Birthday, Christopher Wallace aka Notorious BIG. Today would have marked Christopher's 53rd birthday! On this day in Hip Hop history, Brooklyn’s own Christopher Wallace, better known as The Notorious B.I.G., was born. The late Biggie Smalls is notable for many reasons, and his fashion sense is one. Undoubtedly, the revered artist left his mark on the world through his timeless music that was ahead of its time, but he was so much more. As one of the most prolific storytellers of his generation who paved the way for artists today, he was a true griot who told stories inWidely hailed as the greatest rapper of all time, Biggie had the game on lock before his life was tragically cut short in a drive-by shooting on March 9, 1997. Though his time was brief, his legacy remains immortal.
