Fans of The Notorious B.I.G. received a treat on March 1 with the release of a Netflix documentary titled Biggie: I Got a Story to Tell. The film looked back on the life of Christopher Wallace after his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020 and ahead of what would have been his 50th birthday.

CBR can exclusively reveal an anime-inspired short video created in support of the film by a core team of Black animators, who imagine a young Christopher Wallace inventing The Notorious B.I.G. in his bedroom as a hip-hop superhero.
